Puzzle Pieces

You, I don’t understand.

Maybe I’m not meant to;

But the puzzle keeps

Pulling,

Tearing,

In my mind.

Your silence is deafening.

Your time, limited.

Yet, curiosity keeps calling,

My name.

Desire keeps whispering

In my ears,

While running her hands

Up my thighs.

I think of you

Impervious even to your desire.

Words of self-confidence,

Insinuations

Of your other-self.

All are tightly wound,

Hidden;

Taking your essence –

Your breath,

Your life,

Your being.
