It’s Complicated…
How my life and relationships have gone from simple to complicated.
My life used to be simple. Even though I still had a very close relationship with my Mentor, I was deeply entrenched in a D/s relationship. I had stepped away from most things and worked on my desires. I started businesses on whims and became an avid horticulturist specializing in growing my namesake, roses.

Anytime someone suffers a huge loss, their life generally takes a tumble. It is part of the process. I became a changeling that adapted to my new environments. Social norms have changed throughout my lifetime, and I have never been able to remain confined within them.
People don’t like change. I know I certainly don’t. Every time Microsoft changes its platform, I get irritated. I am annoyed when the state sends in trucks to tear up the corner and build a roundabout, forcing me to curb my bad driving habits. Some reasons humans dislike change generally refer to our beginnings and how we learned to survive as a species.
Uncertainty is a destabilizer for the human psyche. I often need time to accept an idea; surprises can be fun, but sometimes, thinking it over and allowing the process to sink through internally helps. Like, the surprise sting of a crop across the ass during play can be fun, but also it helps, after picking out that scary new toy — to allow the idea…
