How am I growing in my submission while on my own?

This reflects on my thoughts of what being submissive has been like lately and where I am heading. “Being a submissive” is not defined by a single sexual act. It has more to do with the fire that burns in you, the things that drive you, and your sexuality. Being Dominant or submissive is not a choice but an extension of who you are — the only choice you ever have is which path you choose to walk in life.

Remembering When Everything Was Fine

I have to start at the before, the time before huge changes came to impact my life. Submission and being involved in BDSM has been a significant part of my life. Four years ago, I lived an existence of eternal peace in a distressed world. Yes, I knew the world was pulling apart at the seams, and my time was focused on public issues. However, at the end of the day, my world felt secure.

My fingers were twisted into our political and historical strife for many hours of my day. I volunteered to do social media management for a national figure in politics. My position gave me a front seat to many political issues that Americans give little attention to but impact us all so much. I enjoyed my work but was fine at the end of the day. Personally, my life was filled with peace, love, and happiness.
